道瓊斯３０種工業股票平均價格指數比前一個交易日跌１．２２點，收於１０４６５．９４點，跌幅為０．０１％。標準普爾５００種股票指數漲０．０７點，收於１１０１．６０點，漲幅為０．０１％。納斯達克綜合指數漲３．０１點，收於２２５４．７０點，漲幅為０．１３％。
儘管如此，７月份道瓊斯指數和標準普爾指數仍在強勁公司業績的支撐創下了一年來的最大單月增幅，增長約７％。
